We, My Mind and I, The Story of a Crazed Man

What do you see?

I see white, where white should be

I see wings, where wings should be

I see a halo, where a halo should be

These are the angels that I see

White angels fly above

Their hears of pureness

They have no sin

They are not angels of death

they are ascended angels

They watch over in silent prayers

What do I really see?

I see black, where there should be white

I see nothing, where wings should be

I see air, where a halo should be

These are the angels I see

Black angels fly above

Their hearts harbor no evil

They have no sin

They are not angels of death

They aren’t angels at all

They dwell so darkly around us

            Why do they linger?

They are not pure of heart and soul

They cannot ascend

They help us

But they are us

Those who spend time in purgatory

The Earth we live in is their, no, our punishment

Why is our world their punishment?

Look around

Read a newspaper

Look at the greed, neglect, corruptness, violence, and death

The death

                        Could you elaborate?

I just did

Perhaps you are ignorant like everyone else

Well then again, that’s not even fair

You’re not even alive

                        So why am I here?

We are waiting

                        Waiting for what?

We are waiting for purgatory to expire of course

You know that

            Ha, no I know that
